Bay Area Cardiology Associates is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join one of the largest and most established cardiovascular practices in the Tampa Bay area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP looking to grow their cardiovascular expertise while working alongside an experienced team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers. The position offers a mix of outpatient and inpatient cardiology, exposure to multiple cardiovascular subspecialties, and the flexibility to choose your primary office location in Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, or Sun City Center

• Choose your primary office location in Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, or Sun City Center
• Monday–Friday schedule with a shared weekend rotation approximately once per month
• Work alongside an established team of cardiologists and experienced APPs
• Gain broad exposure to general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, vascular disease, and other cardiovascular subspecialties
• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital-based cardiology

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
• Participate in hospital rounding and inpatient cardiovascular consults
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the cardiology team
• Manage medications, specialty referrals, and patient education
• Participate in a shared weekend rotation approximately once per month

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Acute Care NP or Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP certification preferred
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience required
• Cardiology or acute care experience strongly preferred
