Registered Nurse – CVOR

Tampa, FL

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting at a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases including angiograms, aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, and open AAA procedures
• Care for patients presenting with diagnoses including peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, carotid disease, coronary artery disease, valve disease, TAVR, and aortic dissections
• Operate and assist within a hybrid room environment utilizing specialized cardiovascular equipment
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed and fulfill every third weekend requirement (approximately 4 weekend shifts per contract)
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

• Active Florida RN license or valid compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience with strong vascular and cardiac background; vascular experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to circulate open heart and vascular surgical cases
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility at time of application
• No pending licenses accepted

• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience working in a hybrid operating room environment

• Work in a high-acuity, short-term acute care facility designated as a Level II Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center with 615 staffed beds
• Scrubs provided and parking included for the duration of the contract
