A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who excels in this role:

• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Measures and records vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height, weight, and intake/output.
• Assists with patient positioning, lifting, turning, transfers, and ambulation using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Prepares patient rooms for admissions and transfers, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Supports patient admission, discharge, and transfer activities.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and requests.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
• Helps maintain a clean, comfortable, and therapeutic rehabilitation environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program required.

• Minimum six (6) months of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.

• Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.

• Current CPR/BCLS certification required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
