Blue Pearl Pet Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a full-time Oncologist to join our growing team. We promote a collaborative and supportive culture-truly in this together-supporting each other through shared passion, knowledge, and talents to provide exceptional specialty and emergency care for pets.

We are a close-knit, collegial group with a collaborative work ethic. Our team includes three board-certified Oncologists
, and our robust caseload fully supports the addition of a fourth Oncologist
. You'll join a well-established service with a strong referral base and an opportunity to immediately step into a thriving, team-oriented environment. Additionally, we have 7 criticalists across our Pittsburgh locations. We also have a house officer program with rotating interns, ECC interns and residents, and surgical interns and residents, creating a robust team approach to patient care.

Formerly known as Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (PVSEC), our hospital is fully equipped as both an emergency animal hospital and a center for advanced specialty care. We utilize sophisticated diagnostic equipment, including:

• 64-slice CT scanner
• High-field MRI
• Linear accelerator
• Four ultrasound machines
• Video endoscopy
• Digital radiography

Our facility features:

• 24-hour intensive care unit
• Multiple surgical suites
• Dedicated suites for endoscopy, ultrasound, and oncology
• Comprehensive in-house lab
• Full-service pharmacy
• On-site veterinary social worker to support clients during difficult decisions

We are located just 15 minutes north of downtown Pittsburgh off I-279
, serving the greater Pittsburgh area and communities throughout western Pennsylvania.
