Quality Control Inspector

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all aviation components and equipment meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to accurately interpret specifications and inspection criteria.

To perform this role successfully, the individual must be capable of executing all essential duties at a satisfactory level. The qualifications outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including email, word processing, and Microsoft Excel (data entry, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance), as well as general operating system navigation
• Associate degree in an aviation-related field preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an aviation environment
• At least two (2) years of experience performing dimensional and visual inspections on aviation components (airframe, power plant, and/or avionics)
• Ability to meet visual acuity requirements in accordance with NAS-410 standards
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred

• Perform final quality inspections and support incoming and outgoing (shipping/receiving) inspections
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, customer and company specifications, and quality standards
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product conformity
• Evaluate inspection data and recommend improvements to quality or production processes to enhance overall performance and compliance
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs
