The Bohn Laboratory at the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine is seeking two highly motivated Postdoctoral Scholars to join our research team. Our laboratory focuses on neuropharmacology and molecular mechanism underlying GPCR signaling and how it related to neurobehavioral regulation. We are recruiting entry-level postdoctoral fellows with strong training in:

- Neuroscience - Pharmacology - Molecular Biology

Minimum Qualifications

PhD (or equivalent) in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

* PhD (or equivalent) in Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or related field.

* Demonstrated research productivity (peer-reviewed publications preferred)

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Candidates will:

* Conduct independent and collaborative research in neuropharmacology and molecular signaling

* Utilize techniques such as:

* Molecular Biology (e.g., cloning, western blots, confocal microscopy)

* Signaling assays (e.g., CRC response in cells and in tissue)

* Biochemistry and protein analysis (e.g., dissection, membrane preparations, radioligand binding assays)

* Analyze and interpret complex datasets and understanding of SAR preferred
