The internship is based in our Tampa, FL office. It starts in Fall 2026 and can last up to three semesters. You will work on non‑clinical research projects that support implantation documentation, surgical‑supply preparation, histology staining, imaging, and analysis.

• Assist with implantation documentation and surgical supply preparation.
• Perform histology staining and support imaging and image analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to design and execute non‑clinical experiments.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and record experiment data accurately.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program with at least two years completed; preferably in Biomedical Engineering.
• Availability to work at least 15 hours per week in the lab/office Monday‑Thursday, 8‑5 pm EST.
• Pass a drug screening.
• Experience using a microscope and other basic lab equipment.
• Knowledge of immunohistochemistry, histology microtomy, image analysis, use of ImageJ or other image analysis software preferred.
• Biomaterials fabrication, biomechanical testing, aseptic technique basic understanding preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and basic data analysis.
• Strong teamwork skills and respectful attitude.
• Ability to follow protocols and instructions independently.
• Good organization and time‑management skills.

• Base wage: $18 / hr for undergraduate students; $20 / hr for graduate students.
