Postdoctoral Researcher

The postdoctoral researcher will participate in a translational research program studying inflammation-induced pathophysiological responses in the lung, brain, and circulatory system, with the goal to identify novel diagnostic and therapeutic targets for inflammatory diseases. The researcher will conduct experiments in organ and tissue samples using microscopic imaging techniques, histopathology,
-omics analysis, and cellular and molecular assays. Other responsibilities include assisting the principal investigator in project design, data collection and analysis, preparation of manuscripts and grants, and presentation of research data in scientific conferences and seminars.

Doctoral degree from an accredited institution and appropriate experience and training within a selected area of specialization. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow. Knowledge in human organ anatomy and physiology and laboratory experience are preferred.
