Sr. Manager, CX Research

Role Responsibilities

• Personally design, execute, and analyze qualitative and quantitative research studies end to end (sampling, instrument design, statistical analysis) to uncover customer pain points and workflows without external vendors.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for product design and development.
• Integrate AI into research workflows to accelerate study design, data collection, analysis, and synthesis while maintaining methodological rigor and quality.
• Collaborate with product managers to prioritize features based on user impact and KPIs.
• Manage multiple concurrent research projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Mentor junior researchers and promote best practices.
• Advocate for customer-centric solutions within engineering teams.
• Build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Human-Centered Design, Psychology, Market Research, or related field; quantitative/statistical background.
• 7+ years with Bachelor’s or 5+ years with Master’s in CX/UX/product research; hands-on study execution and delivery.
• Proficiency in qualitative research, experimentation, and usability methods; applied statistics (experimental design, power analysis, significance testing) for behavioral/telemetry data.
• Ability to plan, field, and analyze studies independently using tools such as Python/R and platforms like Qualtrics/SPSS (as needed).
• Experience integrating AI into research workflows.
• Ability to synthesize complex qualitative/behavioral data into narratives; agile development experience.
• Proficiency with User Zoom, Qualtrics, Medallia, or similar.

• Experience applying behavioral insights in product design.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

• Annual base salary range: $124,400–$207,400; bonus target 17.5% plus eligibility for long-term incentive. Benefits include 401(k) with matching, retirement contribution, paid time off, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
