Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part our team Food and Beverage team at Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay located in Tampa, FL.
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you must possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. This role oversees various food and beverage operations, including 1823 Kitchen and Bar, In-Room Dining, Coffee Bar, and Pool Bar. This role is also responsible for running shifts as MOD. You will be expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. You will lead other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, scheduling, payroll and interviewing.
As a F&B supervisor, you must demonstrate fundamental food and beverage knowledge and serve as the liaison between culinary and food and beverage operations and play a significant role in the overall outlet performance, which includes product quality and service standards.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the operation, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor staff to ensure productivity, quality, and exceptional customer service.
- Customer Satisfaction: Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of food and beverages, ensuring they meet our high standards.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, control stock, and minimize waste.
- Event Coordination: Organize special events and promotional activities to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications- Availability to work mornings, holidays, and weekends.
- 2+ years in food and beverage
- National, Local, State food and health safety regulations knowledge.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience with hospitality/hotels preferred.
