Retail, Retail Associate​/ Customer Service

Overview

The Retail Employee / Project Specialist is responsible for a range of duties that ensure customers have an amazing experience whether shopping in our store or picking up an order. The role involves unloading, stocking and merchandising our truck, which arrives Monday mornings at 5 AM. The position requires availability during the Monday morning shift from 5 AM to 10 AM, and may require additional early‑morning schedules.

• Unloading trucks, lifting boxes, merchandising products, climbing ladders, and working at a safe but efficient pace during early‑morning or evening shifts.
• Welcoming and greeting all customers either as Host at the front entrance or throughout the store.
• Connecting with customers across the store to suggest solutions to their organizational challenges.
• Designing and selling custom closets and other storage and organization solutions.
• Operating the register with a focus on providing a great customer experience during checkout.
• Introducing and enrolling customers into the rewards program.
• Maintaining the sales floor by keeping shelves full and presented according to brand standards.
• Assisting customers with carry‑out, including curbside pickup and in‑parking‑lot or garage support.
• Supporting cleaning routines around the store including dusting, restroom upkeep, and vacuuming.
• Processing customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
• Organizing the stockroom to ensure it is well‑maintained and supports selling efforts.
• Adhering to time expectations, performing tasks with accuracy, timeliness, pace, and attention to detail.
• Actively engaging with customers to solve their organizational challenges.

• Availability for early‑morning shifts between roughly 5 AM and 6 AM.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands that retail is an ever‑changing industry requiring flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
