Retail Sales Associate

About the Position

With over 430 retail stores worldwide, the Retail Associate plays a key role in delivering memorable customer experiences. The associate supports the Store Leadership team in achieving the mission of “Connecting Active People with Their Passions” through product availability, visual displays, customer interaction, and efficient checkout processes.

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to questions about product features, benefits, and availability.
• Engage customers to understand needs and preferences, demonstrate merchandise, and make suggestions.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Perform all required cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow.

• No specific education required;
  High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Less than or equal to 2 years of experience in a retail position or related specialization.
• Proficient in operating inventory and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and other retail software tools.
• Age 16 years or older.

• Active environment requiring constant movement and handling items up to 40 lbs.
• May involve exposure to dust and noise and use of specialized equipment.
• Flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally and based on business trends.
• All local, state, and federal laws applied regarding work availability.
