Part‑Time Sales Merchandiser – Tampa Market
We’re looking for an afternoon shift merchandiser who will work up to 29.5 hours per week, primarily on weekends.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements in compliance with company standards.
- Maintain appropriate product inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts, including shelf allocation and cold equipment.
- Manage back‑stock inventory levels and trade breakage in assigned accounts.
- Meet customer service expectations through daily communication, problem resolution, and appropriate follow‑up.
- Maintain professional relationships with co‑workers, customers and shoppers.
- Ensure account meets company merchandising standards, properly facing and spinning product per applicable standards.
- Conduct store surveys.
- Communicate account activities, including equipment service needs, to appropriate parties.
- Maintain merchandising standards while rotating products on each visit.
- Organize back‑room inventory in an orderly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, sales floor, and shelves.
- Transport, replace, and maintain point‑of‑sale advertising as appropriate for account.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work overtime as assigned.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Identify and report any unsafe working conditions.
- Comply with dress code or appearance/grooming standards.
- Work shifts and schedules as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must provide and maintain a personal vehicle for use during employee working hours.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must maintain current vehicle liability insurance and a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years.
- Ability to operate a manual or powered pallet jack or lift product (certification required).
- Associate/1‑2 year college degree or higher.
- At least 1 year of prior sales or merchandising experience.
- Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Ability to use and understand mobile applications.
- Experience working under minimal or no supervision.
- Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds in various positions (kneeling, squatting, reaching).
- Operate manual transport equipment (pallet jack, hand truck) with loads up to a minimum of 100 yards.
- Manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills.
- Perform job activities during sustained periods of time.
- Read information in small, medium, and large print.
- Stand for a minimum of 8 hours during the workday, up to 10 hours.
- Walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday.
- Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment.
