Job Description

The meat associate is responsible for increasing customer trust and loyalty by providing courteous and prompt service, consistent operating conditions, and a friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide continuous attention to customer needs;
Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner. Offer product suggestions when appropriate. Store and rotate department products to ensure freshness and date control;
Replenish and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and maintain the lowest supply cost. Operate department equipment and tools. Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards;
Report defective equipment and hazards to management. Notify management about theft by team members, customer shoplifting, unauthorized discounts, property defacement, or any action that is illegal and/or contrary to company policy.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum:

Must be 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain it.
Successful completion of pre-employment drug tests and background verification.
