Merchandise Sales Assistant (Tampa, FL)

Merchandise Sales Assistants are focused on creating a magical and enjoyable shopping experience by ensuring the highest standard of Guest Service. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with Guests and Cast, operate a point-of-sale system (POS register), handle cash, stock, inventory, and perform light cleaning.

Disney Character Warehouse, Tampa Premium Outlets in Tampa, FL

Connect with Guests by asking open-ended questions to assess needs and make appropriate suggestions

Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that provides Guests with an entertaining, fun, and dynamic experience

Perform cash wrap and mobile Point of Sales duties in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a high level of Guest Service

Manage the processing of shipment, replenishment of the sales floor, and additional operational tasks based on business needs

Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment

Demonstrate strong Guest-focused engagement on and off the sales floor

Clean and dust floor surfaces, counters, and displays using cloths, brooms, brushes, and/or cleaning agents

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid U.S. driver license

Job may require lifting boxes that weigh up to 45 lbs.

Physical role requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, standing, climbing, walking, and kneeling

Basic math skills

Comfortable with technology

Written and verbal communication skills in English

Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Bilingual preferred

Previous cashier experience

Previous retail or related sales experience

The starting pay rate for this role in Florida is $19.60 per hour.
