Retail Associate

Job Summary We are currently recruiting people who share a passion for hockey and will strive to provide world-class plus service to Tampa Bay Lightning and Concert/Event fans at Benchmark International Arena. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet fans and provide world-class plus service

Assist fans with retail purchases through Point of Sale (POS) systems

Assist with stocking retail merchandise on sales floor

Assist with replenishing retail merchandise on displays/shelves during and after games

Assist with inventory of merchandise

May be assigned to work in different functions of retail or event types as needed, including e-commerce, hockey games, concerts, warehouse, etc.

Qualifications Must be 18 years old with high school diploma or GED required

Must successfully complete pre-employment background check screening

Experience working in retail or sales preferred, cash handling skills preferred

Ability to learn and retain inventory knowledge so that you will be able to assist guests looking for certain products and utilize knowledge to up sell retail products

Ability to provide a fun and professional environment for fans Outgoing personality and desire to provide world-class plus service to fans Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment

Exceptional accuracy when using Point of Sale (POS) systems

Working Conditions Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.

Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language

Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people

Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.

Ability to work in loud environments

Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbsMust be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times

Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
