Core-Mark is seeking a Regional Merchandiser to support convenience retail partners across an assigned territory. In this field-based role, you will execute in-store merchandising programs, implement planograms and promotional displays, and ensure Core-Mark products are optimally presented to drive sales. You'll manage stock rotation and inventory presentation, gather store-level insights, and collaborate closely with store teams and Core-Mark sales and operations.
This position offers the opportunity to grow within a leading wholesale distributor, contributing to a customer-first culture while gaining broad exposure to the convenience retail industry.
Responsibilities
- Execute in-store merchandising programs across assigned region for Core-Mark retail partners
- Implement planograms, displays, and promotional signage to maximize product visibility and sales
- Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and ensure proper product placement and freshness
- Collect store-level data, sales trends, and competitor insights to support account and category planning
- Train and collaborate with store staff on merchandising standards and Core-Mark programs
- Ensure compliance with brand, safety, and corporate merchandising guidelines
- Prepare reports with photos and summaries of store visits and project outcomes
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to support new product launches and seasonal sets
- Travel regularly within territory, managing schedule to meet visit and project deadlines
- Resolve in-store merchandising issues promptly to maintain strong customer relationships
