SUMMARYWe are seeking a high-impact Territory Manager with an entrepreneurial mindset to accelerate revenue growth and expand market penetration across the assigned territory. This role “owns the territory” building pipeline, winning new business, growing existing accounts, and coordinating internally to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to execution. The Territory Sales Manager will be expected to think strategically, move quickly, develop relationships with key decision-makers, and close business that positions Flooring Services as the trusted partner for flooring installation and related services
OVERVIEW OF YOUR DAILY TASKS- Track your progress against goals and adjust tactics to maintain pipeline velocity and territory growth.
- Build relationships before you need them. Develop a consistent cadence of face-to-face meetings and site drop-ins to become the “go-to” flooring partner in your territory.
- Prospect: generate new opportunities
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, resolving issues and maintaining positive relationships.
- Respond promptly to urgent issues including project delays, customer concerns, and safety incidents.
- Proven territory sales success (B2B):
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals in a defined geographic territory, ideally within construction services, flooring, building materials, or trade contracting. - Relationship-driven selling:
Ability to build trust quickly with builders, general contractors, property managers, and purchasing teams; skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. - Construction fluency:
Working knowledge of construction workflows, jobsite realities, and scheduling constraints (takeoffs, scope reviews, change orders, punch lists, warranty items, and field coordination). - High-impact communication:
Clear, confident presenter who can tailor messaging to field leaders, PMs, purchasing, and executives; strong written follow-up and customer-facing professionalism. - Territory presence and activity:
Willing to be in the field, customer visits, site walks, local networking events consistently building market visibility and lead flow.
