Germitec is a high‑tech medical device company established in France in 2005. The Company has developed UV‑C technology for High Level Disinfection (HLD) for ultrasound probes. Since Germitec’s creation, it has sold 1000’s of systems to hospitals, and its products have been approved by Public Health England, NHS Scotland, Health Canada, as well as laboratories and scientific centers in France, Germany, and Australia.

In 2020, Germitec won the prestigious Prix Galien award in France for the best medical device. Recently, the Company has received approval from the FDA (De Novo 510K) to market its products in the US.

Why You Should Join Us

This is an Account Manager role covering TN. You will be a true hunter selling Germitec’s Chronos product in that region. This is a true hunter position that will be heavily focused on new capital sales to hospitals, health systems, and private practices.

What You’ll Do
  • Be responsible for the sales of Germitec products and services to the hospital industry within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the sales process from lead generation through customer experience.
  • Identify new sales opportunities by researching and qualifying key accounts.
  • Initiate sales process within territory by scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, and understanding customer requirements.
  • Assist clients in the evaluation of their current situation while building trust.
  • Coordinate with sales management on proposal preparation and submission to clients and assist in evaluation of proposals, overcoming objections and close sales.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals while managing territory expenses within budgeted levels.
  • Facilitate and consult with customers for in‑service and product service needs, and coordinate efforts with other stakeholders as needed.
  • Regularly report specific territory activities, business growth, quality improvement opportunities, territory concerns and competitive activity.
  • Assist in the collection of market data. Suggest product enhancements and full infection prevention application development opportunities.
  • Respond to customer enquiries covering technical, logistical, and general support, including installations and in‑services when necessary.
  • Assist customers in the appropriate use of products and investigate client problems.
  • Maintain accurate customer databases and current opportunity pipeline, and log all activities in CRM.
  • Gather and report on current marketplace information on pricing, products, and Infection Prevention techniques.
  • Prepare territory plans and provide status of account development, trends, and action plans.
  • Call on all target accounts with a frequency sufficient to ensure account penetration, sales growth, and repeat business within a specified geographic territory.
  • Identify and capitalize on new sales and business development opportunities within his/her territory. Goal: 3–5 new demos per week.
  • Maintain acceptable customer pricing for Germitec products within established guidelines.
  • Attend trade shows as assigned and follow‑up on sales inquiries generated from advertising, trade shows, emails, or in‑person meetings.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong client relationships with strategic accounts and KOLs within their territory.
What You’ll Need
  • Four‑year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of strategic sales experience in a USA Healthcare business‑to‑business sales environment.
  • Established relationships with key hospitals and experience selling hospital capital goods.
  • Demonstrated capability in relationship management with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify sales leads and successfully market products.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Infection Prevention and medical device knowledge and understanding are a plus.

  • Base: $75‑100k
  • Total Comp: $200k
