Floating Sales Representative
Major Responsibilities:The floater position requirements is to work outside sales as scheduled. You will manage scheduled appointments by visiting prospective clients and provide estimates for fence installation in the West Coast.
The Floating Sales Representative will perform their job in a way that supports the Company’s commitment to safety in the work environment and execute tasks that will support the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Inside Sales Accountabilities Outside Sales Accountabilities- Manage appointment schedule by visiting prospective customers
- Call Clients to ascertain needs and assist with their selection of fence materials and layout
- Determine proper placement of fence by following surveys, guidelines of HOA, municipalities, county ordinances and Fence Outlet policies
- Measure fence install location property, create a proposal/quote and review with client
- Responsible for the timely transfer of quote, payments and paperwork to the customer and branch office
- Work independently with minimal supervision within a flexible schedule keeping set appointment times with clients
- Set own appointments through referrals as required
- Coordinate installs with management and installation crews at site location
- Assist in collection of payment from client
- Strong communication, presentation and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to effectively manage teams as well as work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for providing excellent service and quality.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Sales experience may be required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of like/similar experience preferably in a sales capacity with hands on knowledge & experience.
- Preferred Bi-Lingual (Spanish preferred but not required)
- Ability to learn sales / scheduling software and use software with proficiency
- Basic math skills
- Ability to think through problematic situations suggesting viable solutions
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations.
- Maintain a good driving record
- 10 Paid Time Off days after 90 days of employment
