Sales Representative

Carillon Green Inc. is a global chemical distributor to the personal care, industrial and household cleaning industry. We specialize in supplying ingredients with offices in Tampa, FL (USA) and satellite offices in Europe and India. We have a strong network of suppliers which allows us to serve our customers with a timely supply, high quality, and the most competitive prices. We believe in integrity and excellence in customer service.

It has allowed us to build long‑term relationships with our customers. We strive to meet or exceed customer requirements for timelines and reliability. We have grown consistently over the last 14 years and have enjoyed significant growth. Our team does a fantastic job of meeting the increasing demand and expectations of our customers; however, we need to recruit talented individuals to help deliver exceptional ingredients and customer service to our customers.

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Sales Representative is to meet sales goals and build profitable sales, primarily by phone, employing a consultative sales approach within an assigned territory. Develops and maintains long‑term partnerships with customers using industry expertise. Evaluates needs and opportunities within customer accounts and negotiates effectively to overcome obstacles and gain customer commitment. Gains team advantages and opportunity momentum by observing and orienting prior to making decisions and acting on problem solving and solution development.

To be successful in the role, you will need to be a self‑starter with a positive approach and a passion for great customer service. You will be proactive, confident and have negotiation skills that are second to none. You will be responsible for growing the business and spotting new opportunities. You will be highly organized with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are looking to join a successful, growing company in an innovative business sector.

You will be working with our sales team to promote our products throughout the USA. Working as part of a small and highly experienced team, your job will be to interact with customers to maximize sales revenue, product placement and profit. You need to have: A warm, personable, and trustworthy approach; great attention to detail; the ability to prioritize your workload and effectively manage and develop relationships with existing and new customers. Customer interaction will predominately be at the customers’ place of work so efficient territory management and highly developed customer‑facing skills are essential.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelors (Required)
  • Experience:

    Business development, 2–3 years
  • Beauty or chemical background preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Valid Driver’s License
Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay: $21.00 per hour + Commission
  • Supplemental Pay:
    Commission, Bonus opportunities
  • Job Type: Full‑time
  • Expected hours: 40 per week
