**** About This Role
** As an HVAC Controls Sales Specialist, you will be crucial to the business by expanding ALC’s customer base and working to exceed sales targets. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and has outstanding customer service This role will provide you with the opportunity to grow your clientele and help coach less experienced sales specialists.
** This role may sit in Southwest Florida; preference will be given to candidates that sit in Manatee, Charlotte, or Collier counties.
**** Key Responsibilities
*** Prospecting in greenfield southwest Florida.
* Promote the Automated Logic Brand via ALFO not independent dealers.
* Secure new logos for ALFO in south Florida.
* Expand ALC Florida's footprint.
* Increase ALC Florida's new orders.
* Increase ALC Florida's revenue.
* Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts of product offerings Achieve annual sales and gross margin targets.
* Develop long-term relationships and build partnerships with assigned accounts such as owners, contractors, and consulting engineers.
* Perform take-offs and bid projects with the full spectrum of ALC offerings.
* Drive specifications towards all ALC offerings with assigned consulting engineers.
* Drive a preference for Automated Logic offerings with assigned owner accounts.
* Apply technical knowledge and experience to write project specifications and proposals.
* Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts.
* Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal staff to deliver quality results and ensure customer happiness.
* Develop relationships and collaborate with other Sales Engineers to improve branch business results.
* Act as the customers ‘advocate in the interactions.
* Attend and present at trade shows.
* Participate in professional organizations.
* Represent ALC as a leader in local industry associations.
** Required Qualifications
*** High School Diploma or GED.
* 2+ years of HVAC controls industry experience.
* Valid Driver’s License.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field.
* Expert Technical experience with HVAC Controls.
* Ability to value engineer control designs with alternative solutions.
* Proficient in Microsoft 360…
