Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections.
  • Cover the Southern Tampa market into Sarasota.
  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and using outlined marketing strategies.
  • Develop positive ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to communicate company service offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog that supports achieving the designed sales plan.
  • Conduct building surveys to support the development of estimates.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales‑related activities.
  • Submit sales reports, expenses, competitive activity, and correspondence accurately and timely.
  • Support the service department to generate leads for service or equipment/device upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Required:

    Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years).
  • Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience selling a service or intangible or technical product.
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling, and closing deals.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction; performance measured by meeting quota numbers.
  • Professional communication, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency with personal computers, including Windows and Oracle systems.
  • Team‑player mindset and ability to work well with others.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline; 5+ years B2B experience; industry or related industry experience;
    Salesforce proficiency.
Compensation

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $50,000 to $65,000, with a competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume and margin on a project, quarterly, and annual basis. This role also includes a competitive benefits package.
