Parts Sales Representative – Outside

Tampa Florida Kenworth is looking for a talented individual to take on the full‑time Outside Parts Sales Representative position. The role involves selling heavy and light duty truck parts while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. • Sells heavy duty and/or light duty truck parts
• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction among all assigned accounts
• Maintains thorough knowledge of all products and services sold by the company
• Cultivates assigned customer territories and accounts
• Solicits and grows new accounts

• Maintains relationships with all customers
• Promotes the sales of parts and accessories and serves as an advisor to wholesale or retail customers
• Spends part of each day in solicitation of new business
• Successfully completes product and sales training courses as assigned
• Develops and maintains full working knowledge of all company systems, procedures, and policies
• Maintains parts‑related correspondence
• Keeps up to date on new products

• High school diploma;
  Associate’s degree (AA) preferred
• Prior sales experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to sit throughout the day while driving to and from various customer locations (average longest single duration approximately 1.5 hours); must also sit while operating a forklift for short periods
• Computer, mathematical, and customer service skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to work in a dealership environment, including 8–12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements
• Ability to demonstrate or display extensive product knowledge to customers and staff to assist with purchase decisions
• Must be highly organized, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven
