THE ROLE

This position reports to the Director of Premium Services. The Catering Sales Manager targets and coordinates catering sales efforts. The job involves initiating and developing quality leads to ensure growth in catering sales. The primary responsibility is to develop new catering business through lead generation, sales marketing, and attending networking events. The sales manager solicits new catering customers through traditional and non‑traditional sales techniques.

Other important duties include booking, selling, planning, and coordinating all special social events while assuring the highest level of customer service. They will be responsible for generating revenue, establishing new accounts, monitoring booking space, booking repeat business while keeping quality consistently high, and conducting catering sales presentations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research, analyze, and develop special event profit‑generating opportunities
  • Proactively solicit new business by making sales calls and presentations, attending local trade shows, and engaging in other client prospecting to increase the size of Legends’ potential client database
  • Create leads and develop long‑term relationships in the event planning, production, and promotion communities, and with other relevant companies, organizations, and groups
  • Monitor changes and new developments in the special events industry
  • Work closely and build relationships with Legends’ premium and concessions departments
  • Manage and direct all Legends‑related event logistics, including managing the events calendar, conducting walk‑throughs and stadium visits, and being the primary contact for clients
  • Prepare and provide required reports to the Director of Premium and General Manager, including special event revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and projections
  • Obtain feedback from clients following each special event to determine and analyze client satisfaction, organizational performance, and event‑related risks and liabilities
  • Provide quality service and excellent products while maintaining positive customer and client relations and prudent financial practices
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude toward customers, co‑workers, and management
  • Adhere to the Legends Global and venue company policies
  • Focus on outbound sales and turn them into repeat business
  • Complete other duties assigned by management
  • Available to work non‑traditional hours (nights, weekends & holidays)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws.
