Next Level Impacts is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales to join one of our rapidly growing technology clients in the Tampa, Florida area. This is an onsite, direct-hire opportunity.
SummaryOur client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead and scale its commercial organization. This executive will provide strategic leadership to Sales Managers, Major Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Specialists while driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and executing the company's go-to-market strategy. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing a high-performance sales culture, building strong customer relationships, improving operational efficiency, and consistently exceeding revenue objectives.
This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment between sales strategy, customer success, marketing, operations, and service delivery.
- Develop and execute the company's overall sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth and increase market share.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Sales Managers and sales professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Drive net-new business through strategic prospecting initiatives, outbound sales efforts, referral partnerships, and marketing-generated opportunities.
- Establish sales processes, pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and key performance metrics that deliver predictable growth.
- Develop annual sales plans, territory strategies, quotas, and performance objectives aligned with company goals.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and enterprise clients.
- Lead complex sales presentations, contract negotiations, and executive business reviews.
- Partner with Marketing, Operations, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, forecasting, and market trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top-performing sales talent while creating succession plans for future growth.
- Monitor competitive activity, customer feedback, and industry trends to strengthen the company's market position.
- Prepare executive reporting and provide strategic recommendations regarding revenue performance, pipeline health, market opportunities, and organizational growth.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent executive leadership experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, including at least 6 years leading sales managers and high-performing sales organizations.
- Demonstrated success creating and executing strategic sales plans that consistently exceed revenue and growth objectives.
- Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong executive presence with experience selling to C-level executives, business owners, and senior decision-makers.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams within a matrixed organization.
- Expertise in sales forecasting, territory planning, pipeline management, CRM utilization, and performance analytics.
- Proven record of exceeding sales quotas, driving customer satisfaction, and delivering measurable business results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel as business needs require.
