As an HVAC Mechanical Services Senior Sales Executive, you will drive growth across central Florida by developing new customer relationships and selling commercial HVAC mechanical service agreements and project‑based solutions, including repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements. This is a consultative, field‑based sales role focused on helping customers improve equipment reliability, reduce operating costs, extend asset life, and support healthier, more efficient buildings.
Backed by the brand, technical expertise, and digital service capabilities, you will build territory and account plans, uncover new opportunities, expand existing relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver value‑based solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial HVAC/mechanical services knowledge, a hunter mindset, and the ability to build credibility with owners, facility leaders, and other decision‑makers in a competitive market.
Responsibilities- Drive new business development and grow existing accounts across the assigned Orlando/Tampa, FL territory by executing strategic account and vertical market plans and building a strong sales pipeline.
- Sell commercial HVAC mechanical services, including preventive maintenance agreements and project‑based work such as repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and replacements, while positioning digital and service offerings as key differentiators.
- Build trusted relationships with owners, property managers, facility leaders, chief engineers, and other influencers by understanding customer challenges and recommending tailored solutions that improve uptime, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Lead the full sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, estimating support, pricing, proposal development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing, while achieving booking, revenue, and profit targets.
- Partner closely with operations, estimating, finance, legal, sales support, and other business units to deliver value‑based solutions and support new project and account growth.
- Maintain a strong market presence through regular customer interaction, onsite engagement, networking, industry participation, ongoing training, and travel as needed across the territory.
- Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the commercial HVAC or mechanical services industry in sales, business development, service operations, project management, or other customer‑facing roles.
- Experience supporting or selling commercial HVAC mechanical services, including preventive maintenance/service agreements, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, or replacement projects.
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC/mechanical systems such as chillers, boilers, air handlers, pumps, VFDs, and exhaust systems.
- Ability to explain HVAC service solutions, scope, and value proposition to customer stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- High school diploma or state‑recognized GED.
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in the fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of commercial mechanical (HVAC) sales industry experience.
- 1+ years of experience installing and servicing commercial mechanical or HVAC equipment.
- Experience prospecting for and developing new business opportunities in a service or project‑based commercial environment.
- Ability to read/understand design and construction documents.
- Knowledge of and strong networking relationships within the local building market such as building owners, maintenance contractors, and mechanical industry subcontractors.
- Experience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, commercial office, and government facility vertical markets.
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
