Overview
Tacony Corporation is seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales leader to join as the Tornado Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast territory. In this role, you’ll represent our commercial floorcare brands across FL, GA, AL, and MS, partnering with distributors to grow revenue, expand market share, and deliver best-in-class cleaning solutions to customers in the region. This is a results-minded sales professional who can build trust, open doors, and convert partnerships into growth.
This role requires 50–70% travel and covers Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Candidates must also be comfortable pulling and parking a trailer, as well as lifting up to 80 lbs. to demonstrate the commercial floorcare equipment.

WhatYou ll Do
- Follow a proven sales process that has yielded success in this or similar industries
- Effectively manage the territory by meeting with customers on a regular cadence to understand their needs, develop sales programs that align and grow their business, and keep them updated on different brands, marketing, and advertising promotions
- Manage regional training for customers: identify training needs, select the best location for attendance, and facilitate sessions for all participants
- Continually seek new business acquisitions to capture market share
- Report monthly market trends, competitive information, and sales/product opportunities to internal teams including Marketing and Sales Leadership
- Attend industry shows and events for optimal product exposure
- Travel 50%–75% required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 5 years of trade experience directly managing distributors, regional accounts, or national accounts
- Strong consumer sales management experience (presenting, selling, management, reporting)
- Strong persuasive skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others
- Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, kneel, bend, lift up to 80 lbs, and use of hands and fingers to operate various machines
- Company vehicle, trailer, laptop, cell phone, credit card, and data allowance
- Competitive compensation package that consists of base and uncapped commission
