Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with national, regional, and custom home builders, developers and general contractors within the assigned geography.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and programs to grow market share, increase product penetration, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through regular communication, support, and problem resolution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the assigned geography to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential builder partners, developers, and general contractors.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure that customer needs are met and that programs are executed effectively.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, set performance goals, and track progress against targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings and how they can meet the specific needs of builders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of sales experience within the building industry, with a focus on working with regional custom home builders, multifamily and commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and the specific needs of the builder segment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and align with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance, with the capacity to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Ability to address and resolve customer issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 75% of the time to engage with builder partners and support sales initiatives.
