Account Manager, Earth & Ag Equipment (Tampa)

Our client, a growing name in the heavy equipment and industrial dealership space, is seeking a driven Account Manager for their Earth & Ag division to cover the territory north of Tampa. This is a true hunter role — you'll spend the majority of your time in the field prospecting, building relationships with contractors and business owners, and closing high-ticket equipment sales (JCB/ASV) with a leading manufacturer lineup.

What you'll do:

• Build a consistent pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and job-site visits
• Identify and engage decision-makers in construction, earthmoving, and agriculture
• Work directly with GCs and contractors, using construction planning data (EDA reports and similar) to identify new opportunities
• Manage complex, long sales cycles from prospecting through closing and delivery
• Develop a strategic territory plan to maximize new account acquisition

What you bring:

• Direct experience selling heavy earth/ag construction equipment OR very close adjacent capital-equipment/industrial product experience
• Adjacent backgrounds welcome if paired with strong hunting/territory experience: material handling, professional tools (Hilti-type), industrial distribution (Grainger-type)
• Comfortable spending the majority of your time in the field
• Valid driver's license
