The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site position based at our Tampa showroom. This role is primarily focused on residential playset sales while also assisting customers with trampolines, basketball hoops, rubber mulch, playground accessories, and other Playground King products.

Daily responsibilities include greeting showroom visitors, identifying customer needs, explaining product features and options, preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with prospective customers. The Sales Specialist will manage inquiries by phone, text, and email, maintain organized customer records, and coordinate with our installation and service teams to help ensure a smooth experience from the initial inquiry through project completion.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable building relationships with customers, managing multiple opportunities, and helping drive showroom revenue through responsive follow-up and knowledgeable product guidance.

This is a full-time, on-site position with typical showroom hours of 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Weekend availability is required. The regular schedule is expected to include two consecutive days off, although specific workdays may change based on showroom coverage needs.

Base salary plus a team-based sales incentive tied to total store sales. Expected total compensation is $40,000–$62,500 annually, depending on store performance.

• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming approach.
• Confidence in qualifying leads, recommending appropriate products, preparing quotes, following up, and closing sales.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers and sales opportunities at different stages.
• Comfortable communicating with customers in person, by phone, and through email.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn CRM, quoting, payment, and point-of-sale systems.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in an on-site showroom environment.
• Prior retail, showroom, inside-sales, or consultative-sales experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Candidates with a combination of relevant sales experience and demonstrated professional ability will also be considered.
• Experience with playgrounds, outdoor recreation products, or home-improvement sales is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday and assist with light product handling as needed.
