This is a full-time, on-site Outside Sales role based in Tampa, FL. The Outside Sales professional will visit existing and potential contractor customers, promote SYL Roofing Supply’s products and services, and generate new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with contractors, conducting in-person sales calls, preparing quotes, following up on leads, and supporting customers with product selection and order coordination.

The role will collaborate closely with branch staff to ensure accurate pricing, inventory availability, and timely deliveries, while representing the company professionally in the field. This position also involves attending industry events, staying informed about roofing products and market trends, and providing feedback to management on customer needs and competitive activity.

• Demonstrated skills in Sales and Account Management, with the ability to develop and grow contractor relationships.
• Strong Customer Service and Field Service skills, including on-site customer support and problem-solving.
• Experience providing Training or product guidance to customers or team members on roofing or construction materials.
• Knowledge of roofing products, building materials, or construction industry strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently in the field and manage a territory.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular customer visits in the Tampa and Central Florida area.
• Ability to work on-site during business hours and occasionally adjust schedule to meet customer needs.
• Proficiency in English;
  Spanish language skills are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or a related field is a plus.
