Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview

Inside Sales Representative (TBS) reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, based in Tampa, Florida (Hybrid – 3 days on-site & 2 days remote), July 2026. This role supports C&D Technologies/Trojan Battery LLC’s strategic growth initiatives by interacting with existing and prospective customers, obtaining orders, and creating customer satisfaction. The representative works closely with Regional Sales Representatives to achieve overall goal attainment.

• Meet and exceed performance metrics based on revenue targets, profitability, and market penetration.
• Develop strong business relationships in existing accounts and prospect new opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Own, qualify, and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Maintain knowledge of product functionality by application and market segment, and keep abreast of new products and competitive knowledge.
• Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to leadership.
• Travel up to 15% as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4‑5 years of inside sales experience with outbound selling skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated high level of sustained competency as a professional contributor.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prospect within existing and potential new accounts.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Sales experience in battery or distribution industries.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and keen on driving growth with a passion for customer focus.
