Overview
The Part-Time Clinical Research Assistant will support clinical research activities in the Epilepsy Division. Responsibilities include assisting with patient recruitment and scheduling, data collection and entry, inventory management, and general administrative and clinical trial support. The position works closely with clinic staff, providers, and investigators to ensure accurate, high-quality research data and patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient recruitment, screening, consent, and scheduling of study visits.
- Collect, enter, and verify study data in accordance with protocols.
- Support specialty clinics by coordinating with staff and providers.
- Assist with patient communication, including follow-ups and addressing medication or study-related questions.
- Prepare study documents, lab shipments, and promotional materials.
- Monitor study compliance and support site visits/meetings.
- Manage inventory of research and clinic supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Four (4) years of office, administrative, or research support experience; college coursework may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
