Open-Source Analyst – Global Open‑Source Threat Network Disruption Cell
HII Mission Technologies is hiring experienced Open‑Source Analysts to join our growing GOST Cell. The analyst will utilize publicly available information and advanced OSINT methods to provide customers with insight into counter‑exploitation efforts, support client priorities, and enhance intelligence gathering best practices.

- Salary Range: $83,593 – $150,000
- Explore new data sources, create effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources to provide insight to counter‑exploitation efforts.
- Fuse multidiscipline and disparate data sources to provide accurate and timely geospatial and human network analysis.
- Utilize industry data to identify threat networks, persons of interest, and locations of interest.
- Provide analysis and assessments of commercially available and open‑source data, focusing on geospatial data to deliver actionable intelligence reports.
- Search and utilize web content and social media to construct OSINT trade‑craft documents and workflows.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control measures into the intelligence production cycle.
- Apply expertise in operations, intelligence, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and collections to enhance client mission‑focused priority areas.
- Provide technical analysis and collection support to OSINT workflows to maximize effectiveness.
- Deliver and present information briefings in support of customer requirements.
- Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in a related field; 3 years with a Master’s; 0 years with PhD or JD; or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 9 years.
- Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s; 7 years with Master’s; 4 years with PhD/JD; or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 13 years.
- Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s; 13 years with Master’s; 10 years with PhD/JD; or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 19 years.
- Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience with the all‑source intelligence analysis and production lifecycle.
- Experience with advanced OSINT search techniques, data visualization methodologies, pattern of life analysis, and information databases.
- Knowledge of national and service‑specific OSINT policies and regulations.
- Senior Level: BA/BS in related intelligence, scientific, or data literacy field + at least 10 years experience.
- Journeyman Level: BA/BS + 5‑9 years experience.
- Junior Level: BA/BS + 3‑5 years experience.
- OSINT Analytic Tradecraft & Illicit Network Discovery:
Proven ability to fuse open‑source intelligence with multi‑INT insights to map and characterize threat networks and produce actionable intelligence. - Regional Expertise & Cross‑COCOM Operational Understanding:
Familiarity with USSOUTHCOM and geographic combatant command constructs, partner‑nation information environments, and theater ISR coordination mechanisms. - Interagency OSINT Coordination:
Experience collaborating with DASW‑CN, JIATF‑South, Treasury‑linked analytical elements, and other interagency partners, understanding OSINT flows through interagency processes. - Ops and ISR Tasking‑to‑Reporting Alignment:
Ability to convert strategic intelligence requirements into targeted OSINT plans and produce refined reporting that integrates with ISR cycles. - Technology Fluency & Workflow Adaptability:
Comfortable operating within evolving analytical platforms, automation‑assisted OSINT tools, and maturing mission workflows. - Advisory‑Level Analytic Judgment:
Mature, mission‑focused judgment suitable for engaging government leadership as trusted advisors.
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
