* Job Summary:

** Monitors and coordinates the activities of and provides support and  assistance to assigned chemistry laboratories to enable effective and safe lab  operations. This part-time position will not exceed 29 working hours per week. This  position requires flexibility in the work schedule from term to term to fulfill  the needs of the department.

* Job Duties:

** Key job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assists the full-time Lab staff with preparing all materials and equipment for lab exercises and
* Maintains the organization, cleanliness and security of the chemistry stockroom, prep areas and adjoining labs.
** Minimum Qualifications
** Successful completion of 60 semester hours or AA/AS degree

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Successful completion of CHML 2211 and junior status at university majoring in chemistry

Good knowledge of basic chemistry lab procedures and safety protocols
