Compensation: $30-35/hr.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, standard business hours

Overview

This role involves traveling to new and existing customer sites to install, program, and troubleshoot enterprise-level security and access systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

* Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision

* Work with systems including access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management

* Troubleshoot and program networked IP video systems

* Troubleshoot and program networked access control systems

* Service commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT-connected systems

* Deliver exceptional customer service in all client interactions

Required Experience

* Minimum 4 years of experience troubleshooting and programming networked access control and IP video systems, including work on customer networks

* Experience programming Lenel, Pro Watch, and Genetec systems

* Minimum 4 years of experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion alarm systems

Preferred Qualifications ("Nice to Haves")

* Previous employment with companies such as Convergent or Secure Top

* Certifications in Lenel and Genetec

* Demonstrated proficiency with Mercury board-based systems

* Experience setting up Mercury board controllers

* Hands-on programming experience with Lenel, Pro Watch, and Genetec
