Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and document incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.

+ Support loss prevention and retail operations by reporting unusual activity, assisting with crowd management, and helping to address customer and staff concerns in a professional manner.

* + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
