Valens is seeking a highly skilled and experienced International SOF Information/Knowledge Management SME to join our team at the Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. In this critical role, you will support the J3-I mission by advancing collaboration, integration, and interoperability among international Special Operations partners. Through these efforts, you will help strengthen partner capabilities and enhance the ability to deter strategic competition, respond effectively in crisis, and prevail in conflict.

• Draft and maintain interactive Information Management products that enable visual analysis of USSOCOM and DoW PN networks
• Draft an IM plan and program that describes how each member of the team will search, locate, meta-tag, file, and update information relevant to J3-I
• Coordinate with elements across the USSOCOM staff, components, and TSOCs to ensure a holistic view of PN SOF capabilities, constraints, authorities, and key leadership
• Coordinate with J3-I representatives from the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence BICES program to ensure consistency between information provided on SIPR and BICES, consistent for Foreign Disclosure policies
• Develop and maintain J3-I long and short‑range calendars; coordinate J3-I IM/KM plan and activities with Command Knowledge Management reps to ensure consistency and access across the SOCOM enterprise
• Perform close‑out and escort duties as part of the Division’s Security Procedure
• Ensure that information attained is clearly categorized based on where it shall be stored and to whom it may be released

• U.S. Citizenship
• Master’s degree in library and information science with data science concentration from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited university and an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited university program or a master’s degree in a management field concentrating on Information or Security; degree in business administration, management, or a related field
• 5 years’ experience in Business process and multinational information management
• 1 year experience in portal development and management
• 1 year experience in managing geospatial analysis tools (Examples of tools required: are Microsoft Office family of information management tools, SOF Geospatial Enterprise
• Current DoW Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCI access
