As a Security Officer - Hospital Site - Full Time in Temple Terrace, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas while helping to support visitor management, access control practices, and general order throughout the location.
* Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate clearly with patients, visitors, staff, and first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
* Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
* Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
* Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
* Be able to restrain individuals when required.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
