** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report access concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

+ Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and following post orders related to deliveries, visitor activity, and after-hours building access.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
