Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location;
Monitor entrances and screening points, verify approved access, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting staff, patients, and visitors with clear directions;
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or support daily operations.
