Allied Universal seeks dedicated part‑time security officers to patrol utilities and related facilities in Miami, FL. In this role you will maintain a visible presence, deter security incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while working a flexible schedule.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Schedule:

• Mon 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Tue 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and anomalous activity calmly, document observations, and update site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and support access control for restricted areas, equipment yards, and other sensitive locations.
• Prepare detailed activity and incident reports, communicate clearly during routine operations and/or critical events, and follow post‑orders related to weather, outages, and other site‑specific conditions.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Minimum age 21; 18 for unarmed roles, 21 for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive background investigation in compliance with all laws.
• Willful acceptance of a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Compliance with state and local licensing requirements; required for driving positions only.
