Job Schedule:
Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout transit areas, platforms, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas to help support authorized entry, observe unusual activity, and/or report suspicious behavior, unattended items, or policy violations.
- Work with local authorities, transit personnel, and/or emergency responders during incidents, service disruptions, or public interactions while following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree, is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
