OverviewAs a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Miami, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As a part‑time Security Officer you will have a flexible schedule and can build a timetable that works for you.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $16.97 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Saturday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Sunday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related matters to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas, assisting with visitor interactions, after‑hours access requests, and other security‑related support needs based on location requirements.
- Support property operations by communicating professionally with tenants and/or management, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, lighting, or access control issues that may affect the location.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
