Role Purpose

The Lead Security Agent is responsible for supporting daily security operations while providing guidance and direction to airport security officers. This role ensures compliance with TSA regulations, airport security procedures, and company policies while maintaining a safe and secure environment for passengers, employees, and airport facilities.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead and support airport security officers during daily shifts and post assignments.
  • Monitor access control points, badge verification, and restricted area entry procedures.
  • Conduct routine patrols of airport terminals, secured areas, and operational zones.
  • Assist with responding to security incidents, alarms, and suspicious activity.
  • Ensure compliance with TSA regulations, airport security protocols, and company policies.
  • Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training to new and existing security officers.
  • Support supervisors in maintaining staffing coverage and operational readiness.
  • Document incidents, security violations, and operational activities accurately.
  • Coordinate with airport operations, airline personnel, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and report irregular activity or safety concerns.
  • Assist with enforcing safety rules and de‑escalating conflicts when necessary.
  • Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and incident management.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum six months of security, military, law enforcement, or airport security experience
  • Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Knowledge of TSA regulations and airport security procedures
  • Ability to remain alert and professional in high‑pressure environments
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Basic communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Reliable telephone and transportation
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with airport terminals, gates, security checkpoints, and baggage claim areas
  • Experience in a fast‑paced environment with frequent passenger interaction
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, lift and push up to 50 lbs occasionally, and assist passengers safely during boarding and deplaning
  • Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills
  • Pass pre‑employment and random drug tests and background check
  • Meet requirements to obtain a security‑sensitive identification badge
  • Adhere to company policies and confidentiality requirements
  • Wear proper uniform or business attire and keep identification badges visible
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
