YourPurpose:
As a critical member of the Brightline Safety & Security team, you will provide a safe and enjoyable work environment for yourself and others by monitoring and patrolling modern stations, engaging in professional security practices, and enforcing rigid procedures to control access.
Your Role:- Enforce all policies and procedures set forth by the management team.
- Conduct safety and security patrols on foot in all assigned areas.
- Watch and listen for suspicious behavior or unusual situations that may create a security or safety concern.
- Sound alarms or call the police/fire department as needed in a security or safety situation.
- Conduct checkpoint screening of all guests and luggage in a professional and polite manner using X‑ray machines and wands.
- Maintain knowledge of all screening equipment and hold current certification to operate such equipment.
- Handle and resolve difficult and sensitive guest inquiries and complaints in coordination with other Brightline entities.
- Maintain accurate logs and provide required reports, including investigative documents.
- Respond cordially to requests for assistance.
- Remain focused, aware, and vigilant in a busy environment to control access through assigned posts in accordance with Brightline’s security initiatives.
- Monitor building Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and all intrusion/fire alarm systems.

Monitor and review all Brightline communication channels, including our company intranet and bConnected, during work hours to ensure all company and department communications and notifications are promptly reviewed.
Experience & Qualifications- Energetic with a focused personality and a demonstrated ability to take charge.
- Vigilant while being “on the move”, active, or mobile, and also while stationary for long periods of time.
- Effectively handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments.

- Prepared to work toward and obtain a security license before operations begin.
- One year of experience as a Licensed “Class D” security field is a PLUS but not required.
- Minimum of 18 years old.
- Able to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Speak, read, and write English at a High School level.
- Ability to pick up last‑minute shifts is a PLUS.
- Ability to speak multiple languages is not required but a PLUS.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated abilities to manage projects in retail, food and beverage, or other ancillary revenue products.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
- Keen ability to deal effectively with guests, management, teammates, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and presentation skills, including the ability to provide written and verbal direction effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
