As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your responsibilities will include managing access points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will interact with a diverse group of people, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

What You’ll Do

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production and distribution environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage industry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• An active Guard Card or license is preferred.
