Mid Special Security Technician Security Clearance

Overview

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. Special Security Technician to support a federal government client. Availability is contingent upon contract award.

• Assist the Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure control of access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and SCI facilities (SCIFs).
• Certify and receive SCI visitor clearances/acceses; conduct SCI security briefings, indoctrinations, debriefings, training on classified material/SSO-related material and topics; obtain signed nondisclosure agreements; provide guidance and assistance for processing SCI position and eligibility requests for assigned military, government and contractor personnel.
• Perform audits of classified material; inspect classified material storage facilities/SCIFs/containers; research and prepare policy and management recommendations related to classified material.
• Other duties may be assigned as described in individual TOs.

• Minimum 8 years of experience related to the labor category, with at least a portion of experience within the last 2 years.
• Bachelor's degree in a field related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by a recognized agency.
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI POLY or ability to obtain CI POLY.
