Overnight Night Audit and Security Officer

We are seeking a highly engaging, safety and customer‑focused Security Officer to join our team at Westin Tampa Bay, a AAA Four Diamond hotel in Tampa, Florida.

• Carry out the safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark, maintaining a professional and teamwork‑oriented atmosphere.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates.
• Reduce opportunities for crime through preventive patrols and high‑visibility presence, following a timely schedule.
• Promote and preserve peace on premises to ensure a comfortable, non‑threatening environment for guests and employees.
• Aid or seek aid for individuals in danger of physical harm or in need of medical attention.
• Respond to emergencies according to the Emergency Service Procedures of the property.
• Assure the security of guest and employee information in written reports and general business operations.
• Complete all daily activity and incident reports.
• Help assure compliance with liquor laws.
• Assist in developing and presenting security‑related programs.
• Review and edit written records produced by Security Officers.
• Assist in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience (preferred).
• At least two years of security or police experience (military or civilian), preferably in a hotel environment.
• At least two years of college coursework in safety, security or hospitality related discipline (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR certification, instructor rating preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

$19.50 – $19.50 per hour.
